Sabine and I decided to work together since we were interested in exploring the forest as a location. Considering Global Goals 15.5; protect biodiversity and natural habitats as a starting point, we chose Nacka reserve. Through a design experience, we invite people to connect and empathize with nature. Our proposal includes two audio stories with a fictional and dystopian scenario to guide the guests through phenomena that arrive at Nacka reserve after the Global Goals didn’t succeed in 2030. Our intention was to provoke emotions in an alive and sensorial ambient so people could feel something and reflect on the relationship between humans and nonhumans in a forest context.
